"Anhydrous calcium sulfate with cobaltous chloride indicator. An efficient drying agent giving visual indication of the progress of absorption and exhaustion. In addition to full charge use in drying towers, absorption bulbs, U-tubes, etc., indicating DRIERITE may be used at the end of large units of regular DRIERITE to indicate the activity or exhaustion of regular DRIERITE. Will absorb 6û10% of its weight in water, depending on relative humidity.
As DRIERITE absorbs moisture, indicator color changes from blue to rose-red. Repeatedly regenerative.
Regeneration procedure for Drierite Desiccant: Desiccant granules must be single layered on a metal baking sheet. Oven must be heated to 450¦F or 230¦C (no more or less). Desiccant granules must be baked for 11/2 to 2 hours (no more or less). Once this is done the product has been properly regenerated and is ready for re-use. This procedure is very specific. It should not be varied in any way. "
